Munster, a commercial builder based in Queensland, was contracted to provide a dust-control solution for one of Incitec Pivot’s manufacturing plants.
The challenge was to enclose a weighbridge and hopper to control dust while filling trucks with bulk material.
A DomeShelter™ Structure was the perfect fast-turnaround solution for the project, able to be:
- Customised with an opening to accommodate the hopper where the material is discharged;
- Hot-dip galvanised for added durability; and
- Sized to fit alongside an existing steel shed
While remaining cost-effective for the client.
DomeShelter Australia supplied a Post-Mounted Shelter measuring 8 metres wide by 52 metres long. Equipment and trucks have ample space to move through the Shelter along the weighbridge. Suspended partial Endwalls were also added to further enhance the Shelter’s dust control capacity.
