The Lithco-owned Bald Hill mine is an open-pit lithium mine located in Western Australia’s Goldfields region.
Lithco required a number of Shelter Solutions for use as on-site maintenance workshops.
DomeShelter Australia has decades of experience supplying Fit-For-Purpose, durable Shelter Solutions to mine sites around Australia and the world. Lithco approached the DomeShelter™ Team for a solution they could trust and were provided:
- Two interconnected Container Mounted DomeShelter™ Structures, one measuring 18m wide by 24.4m long with a SuperRise® roof structure, and the other 12m wide by 24.4m long, both with Endwalls
- One 15m wide by 18.3m long Container Mounted DomeShelter™ Structure with an Endwall
The Structures are used as a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Workshop, Light Vehicle Maintenance Workshop and Drill Maintenance Workshop respectively.
Being critical on-site facilities, it was important the design and engineering process was carried out thoroughly, to ensure the Structures were fully Fit-For-Purpose. Lithco were provided thorough concept drawings initially, along with footing details required for the tie-downs, so that they could have the concrete and initial ground works completed while the Shelters were manufactured. This gave peace of mind regarding the quality of the Structure they would be receiving, while also assisting in making the installation as efficient as possible.
