The Challenge
Segway WA needed a training area for tourists wanting to explore Perth’s waterfront. It needed to be suitable for temporary use, yet still durable and trustworthy to last the duration of their tenancy.
Our Approach
After much consideration, DomeShelter Australia was the natural choice. On the Swan River foreshore of Perth City CBD with the skyscrapers as a backdrop, DomeShelter Australia recently completed this DomeShelter structure for Segway WA using a combination mount, meaning one side was attached to a container and the other side to posts. The rise height from the top of the containers to the apex is 3.4m. Engineered for Wind Region B with heavy duty Polymax 407 (fire retardant) cover.
